Because they did not receive a love of the Truth, God gave them a strong delusion that they might believe a lie.

Women in Combat

Recently, a panel reviewing the situation of women in the military made a few modest and sensible suggestions. One suggestion was that the boys and girls in basic training be housed in separate quarters. It seems reasonable enough that teen-agers at the pulsing peak of sexual awareness, and stressed to the limit by the training, should not have to deal with having attractive others changing clothes and sleeping nearby. But the obvious sanity of the proposal failed to impress the radical feminists. They immediately sent up howls of protest. Separating the sexes at any point in the training would set back the experiment they are conducting with our sons and daughters, in the face of human nature, and to the detriment of our fighting forces.

They maintain against all evidence that there is no role that a woman cannot fill as well as a man. The absurdity of such a view ought to raise gales of laughter all over the land. Instead, the cowering military careerists meekly yield to the social engineers and nervously scramble to make a place for women in the naturally masculine world of war making.

I consider myself a feminist of sorts. I love the ladies. To me they are not objects, possessions or sexual trophies. They are God's best gift to the world, valued  treasures, tender friends, cherished mothers and mates. But they have no place in bloody combat. They are in many ways our superiors. And if they are "the weaker sex," it is in physical strength and endurance. But these are the precise abilities demanded by war. We must not ruin the world's best fighting force to satisfy the unnatural ambition of a few dozen females to become warriors. Women have a very useful place in the military. But let it be in support units, not in combat.  And give them their own training, their own barracks, their own chain of command. Use their many talents, but don't send them into battle.

Do we really want to take mothers from their children and send them into battle?  Do we really want to put menstruous maidens in muddy foxholes?  Do we really want menopausal matrons commanding battalions of men? In the name of God and good sense let's stop inverting the sound values of centuries and replacing them with the unnatural nonsense of political correctness!
