Because they did not receive a love of the truth, God sent them a strong delusion that they might believe a lie.

Call Big Brother: He'll Save Us At no time in my life have we been more in danger of losing our basic freedoms than right now. Given man’s sinful nature, government is a necessary evil. But don’t forget that government is made up of fallen, sinful men, and therefore must be kept in check by constant vigilance. The essence of freedom lies in limiting government’s power. People normally jealous of their liberty seem willing to surrender it in times of danger. We’re entering very uncertain times. So mark my words: from now on we’ll live under the shadow of constant and growing threats (real and contrived). At length a cowed citizenry will beg government to step in and to save them. They’ll breath freely for a moment, grateful for their deliverance. Then suddenly, they’ll find that Leviathan has them in his crushing grip: a grip he won’t relinquish until he has handed them over to the United Nations. If you doubt this, you haven’t been paying attention. Many Christians are quite protective of President Bush and defend him (mainly) because he’s a believer. Their delight in having an Evangelical in the White House blinds them to the real situation. For all I know his faith is sincere; but he and Cheney are members in good standing of the Eastern Establishment, whose admitted aim is world government. According to The Washington Times (Sept. 26, 2005) President Bush wanted to bypass state governors and put federal troops in charge of hurricane relief efforts. This might at first seem practical, but it’s a terrible idea! It would require changing the Posse Comitatus Act, which, for 127 years, has protected us from martial law. Powerful forces want to bring about this state of affairs. Once again the proponents central power are using a national crisis and fear to strengthen Big Brother’s control.
